“Mother, please.”
Kyra got a loud annoying fun little cheerleader doll for Christmas that says different cheers when you press different parts of its body. One of the kids had set her off, and I was making fun of the cheer it was saying. As I was obnoxiously saying the words and shaking what my mama gave me, I looked down to see Kyra giving me a very disapproving look. It very plainly said, “Mother, please.” I told her, “Don’t move, I’m going to take your picture.” She didn’t move. Even after I took the picture, she continued to give me “the look” until I assured her I was through being a cheerleader.
Owen the Sitter
Look who can sit up all by himself. He’s been doing this for just about a week to a week and a half, but this is the first picture that I’ve got of it. Isn’t he cute?
Kyra’s Field Trip to the Bowling Alley
Kyra got to go on a field trip today to the bowling alley. Me, Elijah, and Owen went with her. We all had a good time. Kyra’s future husband (by her accounts, not his) had to keep rescuing her balls. She wasn’t rolling them hard enough, and they would quit half way down the lane. Westley kept walking down to give them a push. She then said, “Thank you, We-e-estley.” She’s so funny. Elijah really enjoyed bowling. It was right up his alley….pun intended.
