What started out as “oh, I will stay here a year”. Turned out to be 8 years and counting. Besides the fact that I miss family and friends, I miss the WATER!!!! The one thing I do love about Arizona is this is where I met my husband. Funny you mentioned the Grand Canyon. I haven’t even visited it yet. Crazy, huh?

Well, if you ever convince him to move here, give me a holler. Our families are so close in size and age, we would be sure to have fun. My husband was working in Las Vegas last year, and me and the kids flew out to visit him for a few days. While we were out there, we visited Arizona and the Grand Canyon. I also went to Arizona on a school trip when I was 15. It’s just nothing like Tennessee. I liked it, but I don’t know if I would want to live there. Good luck with your hubby, though!

Not only would I love to visit, I would love to move there. Although I grew up mostly in Southern Florida, when I was young, we lived in Asheville, North Carolina for about 3 1/2 years. I fell in love with Tennessee. We are in Arizona right now…..I have been petitioning my husband to get back east somehow! Wish me luck!

6scavos, they are pretty photogenic, if not always cooperative. Our zoo has added the playground and interactive exhibits in the last couple of years. The kids love the new parts, and I think it’s great. If you are ever in Knoxville, you should definately visit the zoo.

I agree! You got so many great shots at the zoo! I am lucky to get one or two. Must be those photogenic children of yours :)I wish we had a zoo with that much to do here!
