In my favorite poem by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay, he reminds us that like the seasons of nature, life is one season melting into another, and quickly fading away. This is my attempt to document each season in my life and my family.

I’m So Crunchy!

Okay, maybe not, but check out my lunch today.

Yummy veggies

I cooked the squash, zuchinni, and green tomatoes that I grew in my garden with some mushrooms, onions, and spinach for lunch, and it was yummy.

Mushroom

I also stuffed some large mushrooms with cheeses, spinach, and spices to go along with it. So good!

I feel, oh, so crunchy when I make an entirely vegetarian meal from vegetables I planted, tended, and harvested with my own two hands, cook them myself, and feed them to little people that I also made myself (well, kinda :) ).

Next thing you know, I’m going to be grinding my own wheat or something.

Sorry friend. Come back in July, and I’ll make you a fantastical, crunchy feast. With fried potatoes. Mmm. :)
