In my favorite poem by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay, he reminds us that like the seasons of nature, life is one season melting into another, and quickly fading away. This is my attempt to document each season in my life and my family.

I have so much to do today. I am behind in my duties. I have a ton of laundry that needs doing. I am not going to worry too much about the house today. The main living areas aren’t too bad. I cleaned them up yesterday. Just a little laundry, for now, is all I’m aiming to do. I have to go to the store today, because we’re out of diapers. I also need to go to my grandparents house. Besides just needing to take the kids to visit them, I need to take my Papaw a birthday card. I missed his birthday. I felt awful when I realized I had forgotten it, but we were all sick and stuff. I’m sure he will understand. Depending on how warm it is outside, I thought about taking the kids by the park to feed the ducks and play for a little bit. If it’s chilly out, though, I’ll probably just stop by the library on my way to Wartburg. Kyra so loves the library. After Papaw’s, I will probably go by my parents house until it is time to go to church, and then I will most likely go to their church. Then, come home, watch American Idol, go to bed, and hopefully sleep better than I did last night.

And that, my friends, is today’s itinerary. Splendid, eh?
