In my favorite poem by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay, he reminds us that like the seasons of nature, life is one season melting into another, and quickly fading away. This is my attempt to document each season in my life and my family.

Guilty as charged. I am one of the KJV-only-users. (Does that make sense?) Now, I do not believe that you cannot be saved from a different version. I have known people like that, however, and they were a little, well, vehement about their beliefs. They kind of scared me. = ) Our church is an independent, fundamental, Baptist church. Think lots of preaching on the power of the blood, good 'ol soul stirring hymns, and the KJV in everyone's pew. I happen to understand the KJV very well- I have been reading it since a child, and that's all I hear. I do believe it is the inerrant Word of God, and the best version there is. However, if you read another version, I am not going to hit you over the head with my KJV and run you out of town on a rail. I have my beliefs, and I hold strong to them. I do *not*, however, force them down people's throats. The KJV subject is touchy, and since there has been so much controversy since all the different versions came out- fighting amongst Christians, strife, contention over it, etc... it helps make me a little wary of all the different versions. I mean, God's not the author of confusion, right? But anyways... don't know if I made any sense. Just sayin' where I stand on the issue! And no, this comment was not written to start a big doctrinal debate over the whole subject. Please don't. Just telling you where I stand on it. = )
