In my favorite poem by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay, he reminds us that like the seasons of nature, life is one season melting into another, and quickly fading away. This is my attempt to document each season in my life and my family.

With everyone commenting on how much Kyra looks like me in the recent photos I posted, I took one of the two of us together. You guys are right. She does look like me. I’m going to have to find some pictures of me as a kid and post them. She really looks like me as a kid.

She looks so much like you. I have a picture of you when you were about 6 or something. You have on a hat (crooked), leaning up against our car. You’re so cute in it!…and…you look like Kyra. :)

Sometimes I’ll show pictures of me as a little girl to Abby and ask her, “Who is this?” And she’ll say, “Abby!” And I’ll try to convince her that it’s Mommy when she was a little girl, but she won’t be convinced. To her, it’s Abby. Too bad she acts like me, too. = )
