In my favorite poem by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay, he reminds us that like the seasons of nature, life is one season melting into another, and quickly fading away. This is my attempt to document each season in my life and my family.

Christmas with Kyra

Filed under: Photos, Uncategorized — Rachel at 10:26 am on Wednesday, December 27, 2006

Kyra was sick on Christmas Day. Mom took Elijah with her to the family dinner, and Chris was at work. Kyra and I played all day. Owen mostly watched when he wasn’t asleep. Here’s a picture of Kyra playing with the Barbie computer that Mamaw Velvet got her for Christmas. Notice what she was eating, a roll, cheese, ham, and some marshmallows. Obviously, she was feeling better by then.

Here’s a couple of pictures of Kyra when we were playing Pretty, Pretty Princess. I definitely picked a winner with this Christmas present. It’s right up Princess Kyra’s alley.

Oh, I am sorry to hear that Kyra wasn’t feeling well enough for Christmas with the family. Is she feeling better now? No one else caught her bug, I hope? It does look as though she had a good time with Mommy! Lindsey also got Pretty Pretty Princess and a princess computer. I tell you, they would be best buddies! Have a terrific New Year and remember the test is going to go fine. I am proud of you for taking the plunge!

In your comment, you mentioned not seeing some of my posts….I have been backdating stuff. Sorry for the confusion. It wasn’t you or your computer. Just me, the obsessive one:)
