In my favorite poem by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay, he reminds us that like the seasons of nature, life is one season melting into another, and quickly fading away. This is my attempt to document each season in my life and my family.

Kyra’s Rendering of Mommy

Filed under: Photos, Uncategorized — Rachel at 11:02 am on Thursday, November 30, 2006

So, last night at church, Kyra drew this lovely picture, and said that it was me. I held it up to show Brooke and Faith who were standing there talking to me, and said, “It looks just like me, doesn’t it?”
To which Kyra said, “Yeah, except it’s prettier.”

Then, I pulled the dagger from my heart, and laughed. Kids say the darndest things, right? Yeah, right. Little brats. (Kidding!) (Kind of.) (Yes, I’m kidding.) (Sorta.) (No, I am. I’m kidding.)

Cute, cute- i love your afternoon photo shoot. Kyra is as cute as a button! (Even though I really don’t know what that means- I have never really though buttons were *cute*) But anyways, she is cute, and so is Owen!
