In my favorite poem by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay, he reminds us that like the seasons of nature, life is one season melting into another, and quickly fading away. This is my attempt to document each season in my life and my family.

At the Ballgame

Owen with his Aunt Misty

Luke got stung on the lip by a yellow jacket that was on the rim of his Pepsi. Poor guy!

My brother, Jason, just came home from Iraq. We are so happy to have him home safe and sound. We were seeing him for the first time at Seth’s ballgame. He was very excited to see his nieces and nephews for the first time in seven months. He had never met Owen before, since Owen was born after he went to Iraq.
Here he is with Keinzie…

Elijah…

Kyra…

and Baby Owen.

Okay, I will try this again…..blogger keeps deleting my comments:(

I am so glad that your brother made it home safely. He is HANDSOME!

All the photos are great….especially those of you with them. You look happy, content. Aren’t children wonderful?

Lindsey was looking at the blog with me and said she wants to play with those “fun kids”. So cute.

Heather,
I’m glad you finally got your comment through. I love getting comments on my blogs.
Handsome, huh? Well, he thinks he is, too. He doesn’t suffer from insecurity, so I’m just not going to contribute to his head-swelling. ;) We are really glad to have him back in the U.S. again, though.
Children are wonderful. They make me so happy. I wish that we lived closer to each other, and Lindsey really could play with my kids. I know all of our kids would have so much fun together. Michael maybe wouldn’t have as much fun, as he would have to be hiding from me the whole time. I’d be trying to squeeze him and cuddle him the whole time. (I think you know by now that I think Michael is one of the cutest kids I have ever seen in my entire life!)
Thanks for the comment!
