In my favorite poem by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay, he reminds us that like the seasons of nature, life is one season melting into another, and quickly fading away. This is my attempt to document each season in my life and my family.

Please Watch This!!

I’m moving this up to the top, because I want to make sure everyone sees it. It’s a beautiful video put together by Chaplain Fisher about his first trip to Iraq. I cried through the entire thing, but it makes letting my husband go to Chaplain School this summer a little bit easier. This is what it’s all about!

I tried watching it, but for some reason, your site moves really slow on my computer. ANd it affected the video. So, I saw a little bit of it. What I saw was good! I had alot of catching up to do with reading your posts. Are you all over your sinus infection? I still have mine- after six weeks. Since it has been so long, I think it is just pregnancy. Hopefully, I will be facing the end here pretty soon! I can’t take much more of this swelling! See, now I am whining. Sorry. Have a great weekend!

That was beautiful also! Thank you for sharing this…Chaplains are so very important to our troops and their morale. Our good friend is a Chaplain with the Marines here and he is constantly busy because there is such a need for him. Bless you and your husband for serving in this way.

That’s great! It puts everything in perspective. I know you all will do a great job when you get shipped off “into the wild blue yonder.” (That’s the wrong song, isn’t it?) :)

Joy, yeah, wrong song. :) lol That’s the Air Force song. The Army song is “The Army Goes Rolling Along” or something like that. I got your point, though. ;)

For some reasons, I can’t comment- the spam catcher on yours , and Holly’s site keeps preventing me. Argh! Hopefully this posts.

You are absolutely right- this is why we “let” them go! I am so excited to continue reading your journey to see the incredible ministry your husband will have! If you ever have any questions or need anything, please don’t hesitate to let me know!
