In my favorite poem by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay, he reminds us that like the seasons of nature, life is one season melting into another, and quickly fading away. This is my attempt to document each season in my life and my family.

Kyra’s Quote of the Day

“Mama, since you are married, if Daddy died, you would be a widow. You wouldn’t be able to work, though, because you have to take care of us. But when we grow up and we are all three teenagers, then you can get a job. And MAYBE when Elijah is a teenager he will get a job, and, if I’m a teenager, I might want to get a job. Owen can get a job, too. And we’ll all have jobs like Mammy and Papaw and Luke have jobs.”

Yes, honey, but that sounds like an awful lot of work. I think that Daddy should just not die.
