In my favorite poem by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay, he reminds us that like the seasons of nature, life is one season melting into another, and quickly fading away. This is my attempt to document each season in my life and my family.

Ooh, I’ve done it now!

I started a new book that I’ve been wanting to read. My friend, Heather, sent me The Memory Keeper’s Daughter a while back, and I’ve been putting off starting it. I have had so much schoolwork that I’ve not had time to read for pleasure. I knew if I started it, I would just want to read it and not do schoolwork.

Well, this evening, I took a break from working on my Comp homework to feed Owen, and I grabbed the book and started reading while I nursed him. Well, he’s been fed and in bed for a while, and I need to be working on homework. Instead, I think I’m going to go read some more. I can’t help it. It’s calling my name!
