In my favorite poem by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay, he reminds us that like the seasons of nature, life is one season melting into another, and quickly fading away. This is my attempt to document each season in my life and my family.

How funny. Now, during this conversation, did my beloved son have any interest in actually going to Heaven? Kyra was telling me all about the Sunday School lesson on the way to the funeral for Stephanie's papaw yesterday. The usual funeral discussion of how Jesus gave her papaw a new body that wasn't sick and he was now in Heaven was going on, and Kyra said, "Oh, yeah. I know about Heaven. We learned all about it in Sunday School today." Elijah was trying to weigh in with something from the back of the van, but Kyra wouldn't hush long enough for me to hear and understand what Elijah was saying. I would almost bet now that it had something to do with no baths in Heaven. :)

Just so you know.. we talked about all the things that won't be in heaven in Sunday School yesterday. In total agreement with the class was the fact that we won't get dirty, so they'll be no need for baths...I remember being excited about that when I was a kid. ; )
