In my favorite poem by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay, he reminds us that like the seasons of nature, life is one season melting into another, and quickly fading away. This is my attempt to document each season in my life and my family.

You Can’t Cry

Tonight, as I was watching a very much anticipated episode of Gilmore Girls, I said, “If Rory and Lorelei don’t reconcile tonight, I’m going to cry.”
Kyra said, “No, you won’t, Mommy!”
I said, “Why not?”
“You’re not a kid! You can’t cry, Silly.”

Oh, if only.

Yeah, I laugh myself crazy and secretly when my son says to me “Daddy, Daysha’s not going to play with my toys. They are BOYz toys, NOT girl’s toys.” LOL.

That girl is going to play with his toys whether he wants it or not. Gotta share…he doesn’t seem to share…he’s going to learn…they all do, eventually right?!
