In my favorite poem by Robert Frost, Nothing Gold Can Stay, he reminds us that like the seasons of nature, life is one season melting into another, and quickly fading away. This is my attempt to document each season in my life and my family.

Fun Day

We had a busy and very enjoyable day today. I went and picked up my contacts, took a movie back to the video store, and then went to Goodys. I got three shirts, and the cutest little skirt. Then, I went and had my eyebrows waxed. After the girl finished waxing them, I got up, and Kyra asked, “Do you feel better now, Mommy?”. That was kind of funny. After that, we drove around McDonald’s, got some chicken mcnuggets, and came home. After we ate, we got out the wagon, and went for a walk. Then, the kids played outside for a while, and I talked to Chris on the phone. After that, we went to my mom’s, and played outside for most of the evening. I flew a kite, and played basketball with my brothers and Misty (Malachi’s friend). Misty rode me on the four-wheeler. I am too scared to get on it with my brothers. I don’t trust them. Kyra had a really great time playing with Makenzie (Misty’s daughter), and Elijah just adored being outside all evening. It was just so fun. The weather was gorgeous. Mom took the most absolutely adorable picture of Elijah. I can’t wait for her to email it to me, so I can post it. It’s awesome. Well, Elijah woke up crying, so off I go. Hope you all enjoyed the play-by-play of my day.
